Jay Bird has been recently purchased by First Baptist Church of Lake Hamilton. Our intent is to develop a place where you and your family can get away from it all and refresh yourselves in a place of solitude and fun!

The Jay Bird Legend
Legend has it that a logger hurt his leg and could not find help. He noticed a Jay Bird had come along and seemed to be prompting him to follow.
Bleeding badly from his leg, the logger struggled to follow the Jay bird. Finally the Jay bird came to rest at a water spring. The cold water of the spring stopped the blood from flowing.
The logger returned to the spring daily and found that his leg seemed to miraculously heal. To this day the resort is named after the “Jay bird” that helped the logger survive what could have been a tragedy.
